Tiger Love

YAYS! First pic of Rava and Oz in a bit, this one partly inspired by my poor baby feeling blue this week .

I originally had a different pose planned for this, but at the last second I decided to do something different, and I love how it came out much better than the original pose idea. This is the first time I’ve successfully drawn them hugging, too, lol (because canines sorta would have a hard time hugging since their leg aren’t made to wrap around things lolol).

The background is actually based on a roll of ribbon I bought a week ago to make a choker out of, which will double in my art as Rava’s collar – when I saw it I thought it would be a perfect homage to Oz and his living counterpart, so I snapped it up right away! The colors of the real ribbon are a little lighter than the background, but I wanted the background to be on the darker side so it would be more contrasting – and easier on the eyes lol.

And the little tiger-striped heart was a random idea, also based on the collar design – I think it’s so cute, I would love to find a charm or pendant like that~
